I was sitting at my niece’s dance recital when I felt the burning pain in my butt cheek for the first time.

I ignored it of course - like most of us do - and assumed it would get better over time.

But it progressively got worse and it took me 3+ years to finally heal.

During that time, I sought out multiple physical therapists, chiropractors, bodyworkers, and acupuncturists desperately looking for the solution to ‘fix’ me. Those treatments all helped a little, but I still couldn’t sit at long dinners with my husband, travel, go for my beloved early morning runs or do any type of strength training without my nerve pain flaring up. As someone who identified as an athletic, healthy, active person before I got injured, I felt weak, sluggish and not being able to workout made me feel…depressed.

Searching for my own answers and healing, I dove head first into advanced training in pelvic floor health, pilates rehab and eventually found my way to a kettlebell and functional training gym where I learned more about integrating heavy strength training into my and my patient’s treatment plans.

Once I started blending all those things together, I was able to run, swing kettlebells and do box jumps completely pain and pantiliner-free.

I’ve helped hundreds of women do the same and I’m here to help you, too.
